I'm back.

I heartily apologize for the length of my absence from LJland.

I did my trip to Pensacola that I told some of you about, and upon my return was given some great, or what I thought was great, news. Do you guys remember me telling you that I was up for the promotion to Cafe Manager at work? Well...I got it. It supposedly comes with a decent sized raise, but also a lot more work.

Things are going really slow in getting me transfered over from Hallmark Specialist to Cafe Manager, but it's all the fault of management. We have almost no employees!!!! For a store our size, we should have about 20 employees, we barely have 10.

I think I'm doing pretty good though, considering that in my first full week, we had a full store inventory, plus I have to get Charlotte trained in Hallmark, plus we have to do a stationery reset, plus the Holiday ornaments go up this same week. Oh, and did I mention the visit by our Regional Vice President next week?

But, thankfully, I'll be on vacation. One more day to go and I'm off for 11 days. Than the Gods for paid vacations. Right now, my plans are to leave work tomorrow, come home, and not leave home for 11 days. Sounds like a great plan to me, how bout you guys?

Well, as I've worked more than 23 hours in the last two days, I'm getting this post done, then I'm going to bed. I just wanted to let you guys know that I was back and that I should be around more now. Also, someone pout at entrenous88 for me.
