I have yet to watch Fire Serpent. I had planned on watching it tonight when I got home from work, which is usually around midnight or so. It's now 2:53 in the morning and I've just managed to make it home about 10 minutes ago or so. Now, as I've got to be back at the bookstore in less than 10 hours, I think I'm just going to go to bed. I could use the sleep as I'm still fighting off the lingering effects of that stomach virus/flu bug I had for the longest time. I guess it won't hurt if I wait until Monday night to watch, unless some miracle occcurs and I get off on time tomorrow, which I highly doubt.

With an entire district's worth of manager's, our area coordinator, district manager, region manager, and regional vice president descending on our store bright and early monday morning, I'm betting tomorrow night is going to be an awfully long night.

I do have a rec for you all. I've been reading this book for the past week or so and would have loved to have devoured it in the first night, but I forced myself to slow down. Not because there was anything wrong with the book, quite the opposite. The book is so wonderful, I didn't want it to end, so I forced myself to read only a chapter each time I picked it up. You should all run out now and buy it, along with everything else this author has written.

His name is Timothy James Beck and he's written It Had To Be You, He's The One, I'm Your Man, and Someone Like You. The first three can be read seperately, but are best when taken as a trilogy. The last one, the newest book he has out, has a couple of familiar names and faces in it, but for the most part brings an entirely new cast of characters out for you to enjoy. I'm constantly out looking for more books by him, but he insists on waiting until they're finished to sell them. Greedy summabitch.

And now I'm off to bed, I'll catch you all later.

TTFN.

Thanks for the prayer, I'll need it. That, and probably a few non-prescription drugs, to make it through the day.

You're very welcome. It's very refreshing to find someone who writes gay oriented fiction that isn't just a lot of porn.

So, it turns out Timothy James Beck is actually four people. Three guys and a girl. Some of them have even done solo stuff, so you might want to check it out *G*. I got book 4 the other day but have yet to crack it, books 2 and 3 came today. I kind of already read 2 and thought it was quite fun, so thank you for the rec, I look forward to reading the rest.
