I so have to get caught up
I forgot that today was Thursday. As such, I forgot to spend today getting caught up on my shows. I'm two, no three, eps behind on Supernatural, muchly behind on Veronica Mars, massively behind on Smallville (like, a season and a half, I think), and my behindness on One Tree Hill resembles a nuclear (say it five times, really fast, Mr. Bush) explosion, or the after effects anyway.
Looks like tonight will be another night of no sleep at all.
Oh yeah, and I really need to spend tomorrow morning getting together the paperwork I need to find out if I can get financial aid to help me go back to school. What the HELL was I thinking that I could do this? I'm so not smart enough for college. I knew that when I was 18, what made me forget it? Plus, this being finals week and working with almost all college students? Not helping with the fear that I'm going to fail miserably and be laughed, or thrown, off campus.
And, to top it all off, I was told I should look into scholarships for students who return to school LATER IN LIFE!!!!! Do I look like I'm on my deathbed or something? I'm only 31. I'm also completely terrified because I am not smart!!
*cries*

Trust me, just having to make time in your life for going to the actual classes and doing homework will be enough of a change in your life, so don't stray too far from the things that interest you for your first class choice.
No one is going to laugh you out of school. Colleges are in the business of teaching students. They want your business, so they won't laugh. The only time you might get thrown off campus is if you do something illegal, so you'd best keep your pants on while you are in class. :D
Believe it or not lots of profs like slightly older students. They see that you are back in school because you want to learn, and not just because you parents want you to go to college.
As for FAFSA forms, they are the devil's own red tape for students. I have felt your pain.
Oh, and Hi. *waves*

Hi there!
I'm 27, will be 28 in August. If you can get scholarships, do it. I went to one year of college right out of high school and dropped out. Took one class while I was living in California, and felt that it was "too much" at that point in time. Right now, it feels RIGHT to be back in school, and I'm considering going back full time in the fall and working part time. Yes, I'm insane.
I'm also your cousin. *waves*

Who on earth told you aren't smart? You are one of the most intelligent people I know. It's why hanging around with you is so much fun. You're bright, intelligent, witty and you will TOTALLY blow them away at South or wherever you choose to go.
My only gripe is that you have to start back AFTER I have the computer class from hell. You could have been
Doing my workhelping me out all of this time. What gives? In the future, I'll proof all of your papers for you if you do any computer work I have to do.And as for the scholarships, if they give you money, take it! I wish someone would give me money. Money would be nice.
