Wandering thoughts

Am I the only one? I really don't like this whole christmas time. I mean, I love getting and giving gifts, I love watching my little niece and nephew opening their presents and paying more attention to the wrapping paper than the actual gifts. I love seeing my mom's face light up when she realizes that my brother and I actually got along long enough to sit still for a real family portrait for her (she hasn't had pics of us together since we were kids). It's even the one time of the year I like being around my family and just talking.

But I really can't stand the music, tv shows, perky PERKY PERKY people, the bright colors that get on my nerves, the flashing lights that give me headaches.

Am I alone? Am I the only one that believes we should have christmas in June when the damn colors and lights would be drowned out by a brighter sun?

Okay, I'm done. Going to watch Charmed.
