Dude! I love cocoa puffs
Mar. 8th, 2004 03:51 amOkay, so without naming any names, cause i don't like hurting peeps feelings, i just read the most horribly written fic in the history of the world, and I just needed to vent a little.
First - Wesley does not talk like an 18 year old california surfer people!!!!! We may talk like dude, nuh uh, and omgwtf!!!, but Wesley would never say wtf!!!! and he'd definitely never even think the word dude.
Second - when writing a fic with the pairing of Angel/Xander that is NOT an au fic, one should consider their history together. I just can't buy that they'd fall into bed together 3 paragraphs into the story.
Third - if you're going to start a storyline of Xander turning his back on his friends, don't change your mind 3 chapters later and have him walk up to Willow and give her a huge hug and forgive her without there being some kind of clue that he's actually thought this out or that they've come to some kind of resolution - it's called continuity.
