An observation and some quiz type things.
Aug. 17th, 2004 03:46 pmAs I was going through my f-list today, I noticed something strange.
I kept getting these alerts telling me I had new mail. Now this in itself isn't strange. What I find strange is that you click on this alert, that tells you how many new mails you have, and it takes you to an entire page that tells you how many new mails you have.
Why can clicking on the alert not just take you to your mail? Is there some ancient and ever so wise reason for telling us twice? Is it to honor the old movie The Postman Always Rings Twice (which I haven't and won't see)?
I find this strange. Am I the only one?
