Before I head to bed, wanted to share this with anyone looking for bunnies...

This just popped into my head at work tonight, so I jotted it down. I'll try to clean it up a bit as I type, but I'm not really sure if it'll make much sense.


Set Angel s2(ish) (around the time that Cordy's visions really started getting awful)

Cordelia's visions are getting more and more debilitating, going so far as to cause seizures and physical harm. Seeing one of his closest (if not THE closest friend) in so much pain is unacceptable for Angel, so he goes to the Oracles for help.

Meanwhile, back in Sunnydale, life is going on as usual. With one exception. Xander hasn't been heard from since he left on his roadtrip.

Enter Xander. A nameless face lying in a small town hospital in a coma.

The Oracles decide to answer Angel's request for help in the form of Xander, who awakens from his coma changed. He comes to Angel with visions that cause him no pain, but with the side effect of a gift of empathy.

The 'changes' Xander has gone through, thanks to the Oracles, have tied Xander to Angel. He must stay with Angel to be his conduit for the PTB, and if he refuses, he goes back into the coma.


I don't know if this is anything that will interest anyone else or if it's been done before or what. But I'm really hoping that someone can write something that comes at least close to this.
