Anyone who actually read the post about the lamp, sorry bout that. I totally went off and was so pissed that I couldn't wait for my mom to get home to gripe at her about it. So I called her and found out that the lamp was taken in to be fixed and cleaned.

so yeah, total *facepalm* moment.
