How is it possible that it's 8:00am and I still haven't been able to sleep? It's completely inhuman.
Also? Even though I've watched a couple of movies, watched four episodes of Doctor Who, and read several chapters of fanfic, I STILL have the theme song to Duck Dodgers stuck in my head.
And, thanks to the work of two very lovely ladies,
eternalmusings and
sam_gamgee, I bring you two SGA fic recs.
A Farmhouse in Iowa:
Summary: John inherits a farm, Rodney ends up entirely out of his element, and there is much ado about baseball. Completely AU.
Splinters and Stones:
There's no real summary given, but it's a great Sheppard/McKay/Beckett fic.
I haven't finished either of these yet, but I've read enough of each to know that I'm going to have much enjoyment from them. And I believe you would as well.
Now I'm going to close out word, turn off the computer, and go to bed. Hopefully, this time I'll be able to sleep.
