YAY!!! Eet is Doned.
Aug. 5th, 2008 05:38 pmJust finished reading Breaking Dawn, the fourth, and final, book in Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Saga.
I loved this whole series so much. I started reading them about the time that Eclipse, the Third book, came out. I devoured the first three in one weekend and then, like many, was forced to wait forever to get the next. I was at work Friday night and clocked out so that I could go and stand in line with my prepaid voucher to get it.
I fully expected to be disappointed in the final book, mainly because I'm almost always disappointed in the final book of any series. I know I was disappointed in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. A lot. But this one turned out the be an exception to the rule.
I'm so excited about all the things that have happened, all the questions that were answered, that I'm so very tempted to run back and reread the entire series all over again.
But I can't. Next up is Gone by Michael Grant, followed by The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong. Then, there's always the long wait for City of Glass (The Mortal Instruments, book 3) by Cassandra Clare.
And, in the meantime, I'm building up quite a collection of new fanfics to read. Which reminds me, I need to check out when
sgabigbang are going to start posting all the really long fics that I love so much.
Also, props to
tabaqui as I've recently started her SPN series, The Song of the Treadmill, and am loving it.
