I, too, am conflicted about the Ironman trailer. One part of me wants to go see it and support it because it's MARVEL, but the other part of me admits that Ironman just isn't that interesting unless he's hanging around the Avengers.
So I might see it if someone else wants to see it or if there's nothing else out that I want to see. But if I'm not mistaken, it comes out right around the same time that Prince Caspian is coming out, and I plan on moving into the theatre for that, so I doubt I'll see it.
Beowulf on the other hand, I'll probably be willing to rent. I don't want to go see it because it reminds me of the FMV movies that play when you beat a video game, and it just irks me. And also because Grendel's mum was supposed to be a horribly deformed descendant of Cain, not Angelina Jolie. It looks to me as though they've royally screwed up the storyline. I'd just as soon give this one a miss too.
Across the Universe, now, I really want to see. Did you know Eddie Izzard is in it? That just cracks me up so much. I must see it. That and Elizabeth: The Golden Age and Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. That last one because I'm still trying to figure out why Natalie Portman is an extremely talented actress in every movie she's been in, except for Star Wars. I just don't get it.
OoH! And Enchanted. I want to see Enchanted. Because James Marsden has made me love him by the crafty and devious means of playing awesome characters and cheesy dance show hosts specializing in double entendres. I am convinced that had he not been the one playing Cyclops, he would have been even MORE boring and useless. You just can't make Cyclops useful in any way, any X-men universe. He's never been interesting. Ever. At all. Every series has him being absolutely dull.
