CJ does nature, first edition.

Today, ladies and gentleman's, your fabulous CJ went treking through nature. No, don't have a heart attack. It was a scheduled trip with my class. I don't have very many pics, as the camera on my phone doesn't do well in nature either.


In this pic, we find out that the boardwalk crossing the university's man-made lake has alligators and snakes. For some reason, they actually thought I would follow them out there after seeing that.


This is a neat little trench dug out by Dr. Ryder. Standing close to the camera are two students I don't know. Beyond them, you see Dr. Miriam Fearn (biogeography) and Dr. Roy Ryder (soils).


Carpool? What carpool? We're Geographers, not environmental activists.

I laugh at your puny American snakes and alligators. We have 9 out of 10 of the worlds most venomous snakes, and Estuarine Crocodiles that routinely exceed 20 feet...
