I really don't want to go to work today. This was supposed to be my day off, but I got guilted into working by my boss....this would be before the part where they pissed me off by not telling us we were getting paid early.

What I really want to do is curl up in my bed and read stoney1's Where There's Smoke (seriously, if you aren't reading this, then you just aren't a Glee fan). Oh, and the cookies...I don't even really like cookies all that much, but I have been craving lately...so I want cookies in my self-imposed cocoon of reading.

Someone, work on making me independently wealthy?

Not sure I can help with the independently wealthy bit, but I've certainly got cookies and plenty of reading cocoon experience.

Sorry to hear about the working on the day off. Just know that your boss will likely get coal in his stocking, and not the fun candy kind either. Bah. Humbug.
