I've gone back to my old website address, the angelfire one. I've made changes and updated it, though it's still an ongoing construction project.

What I'd like to ask you guys, any and all who are willing, is to click the link at the bottom of this post and check it out for me? Please?

It's very amateurish and very not cool. But could any of you possibly give me your opinions?

I've done the best I can on the checking of the links, so those should be okay. Although if you do notice any, I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know.

My eyes way suck, so the red font on a black background is very hard for me to read. When I go to sites that have this kind of color combination I do one of two things. I either change my browser to override colors and force dark text on a light background, or close the page and find something else to read. Tell me if you want me to change the colors on my browser and look at it again tomorrow.

I'm still working on the colors. They were part of the reason that I stopped using it in the first place. I've just gotten all the fics uploaded and in order, and all the links working. I'm going to work on the coloring tomorrow night after work. I was thinking white on a black background or black on a white background. Is there a preference?

I'd go ahead and do it tonight, but I have to be at work in 7 hours and really need to get some sleep. Can I let you know when it's changed, then get your opinion?

Dark letters on a light background is nice. It doesn't have to be black and white if you don't want it to. You can play with color combinations and see what is easy to read by changing the colors on your browser to override what is already there.

In IE you go to "Explorer" in the top menu, select "Preferences" then click on "Web Content". Uncheck "Page Specify Colors" and click on the box next to the word "Text:", move the slider bar on the right up until the colors look right, then click on any color area in the little color circle that you want to test out as your text color. Do the same thing in the box next to the word "Background:" and futz with the slider bar on the right side and select the color you want from the pie for the background. Play around 'til you find a combination you like. Then open up a good long fic, like the first section of Repossession, and try to read it. If you have to squint or have trouble reading after 10 minutes go back to the preferences and try a new color combination, reload the page, and read 'til you find a combination that works.

It could probably do with more...youlike color. It doesn't pop out to me and say CJ.
Does that make sense?
