Vacation, day 1

Today I've done a whole bunch of not damn much.
I woke up at the godforesaken hour of 10am to babysit my friend Nancy's sone while she was at work. It was surprisingly easy to do. Did you know that if you put a kid in front of a PS2 with 3 rented games, they pretty much leave you alone all day? I do now.
Went grocery shopping with my mom. Found out that if you go with her, you stand a better chance of getting stuff that you want. I'm now the proud owner of 3 cans of Laughing Cow spreadable swiss cheese and a box of Club crackers. MMMMMMM!! The best snack in the world. And, since it's light cheese and light crackers, it's totally healthy.
Got home from the grocery store just in time for Nancy to pick up Brandon and managed to talk her into staying for dinner, then staying overnight. We wound up watching stupid movies on tv and eating cheese and crackers while drinking tea from plastic glasses.
Now I'm sitting in an AOL chatroom, chatting with friends and watching while Brandon plays BloodRayne on PS2. AND,
nashmaveric just signed on, so I'm gonna run chat with her too. See you guys later.
Kisses.

Date: 2005-08-07 08:31 am (UTC)Trust me, invest baby. Get two, they're expensive, but it'll pay for itself in babysitting fees in no time at all.

Date: 2005-08-08 07:01 pm (UTC)2) You got laughing cow cheese! I find that entirely too funny for words and I don't know why.
3) Super!Charlotte said that Lisa turned in her two weeks notice but it was refused. Any truth to this to your vast store of knowledge?
4) Can you refuse a two week notice? "I DEMAND that you get back here and work for us! WE OWN YOU!"
5) S-O-N. There is no "e" on son.
I knew that about the kids and PS2 games. It's my preferred method of babysitting Seth. It works with anime and miniseries too. The Tenth Kingdom can keep him quiet for six hours. *cackle*

Date: 2005-08-09 01:28 pm (UTC)2) Yes, I got laughing cow cheese. It's the kind Wendy had at work that day, only I didn't get the light kind.
3) Yes, Lisa put in her two weeks notice. Yes, Ron refused to accept it. This happend the day before Inventory. Whether this means she's still quitting or not, I have no clue.
4) Yes, in some countries, they can still own your soul.
5) If I want to put an "e" on son, I can damn well do it. It's not like you spell perfectly every time or, anything,.

Date: 2005-08-10 01:38 pm (UTC)2)Laughing Cow Cheese = yummy.
3)I still don't see how they can refuse to accept a two weeks. What are they going to do, fire her if she doesn't show up?
4) If any company in the world would try to own the souls of it's employees, I can see BAM doing it. Then they'd send us planograms telling us how to arrange them just so. Then Ron would come in and tell us a 'better' way to do it. Then Jerry would come in and quibble because our souls are not arranged according to planogram.
5) If you can make fun of my Erikcar mispelling, I can make fun of your son mispelling. Now we're even.
