Okay, I've just finished the last episode of Smallvile: Season 3.

All I can say is - WTF!!!!?????!!!!

Item the first: What the hell happened to Chloe? I've seen absolutely none of Season 4, so I really don't know if she's dead or alive. But she can't be dead, right? I mean, come on, this is Chloe. For God's sake, she can't die!!!!!

B) - Is it my imagination or are they hinting at a relationship between Lana and Lex? Not that that can happen anyway. Everyone knows that Lex belongs to Clark. But EW!!! at just the thought of it. *I'm actually shuddering*

Third - Where the hell does Clark think he's going? (His running away seems to be becoming a recurring theme, huh?) What the hell is he doing trusting Jor-El? I get that he did it to save his dad's life,but still... I really hope they aren't pulling one of those "The hero becomes the bad guy" things here. I realize it worked out well when it was Willow, but not everyone can pull it off. Besides, it's so cliche!!

D) - O.K. let's see here. Lionel is nuts, Lex is dead, Chloe is MIA, Jonathan is unconsious out in the caves, there's some freaky fire thing happening to the crops, and Clark is on vacation. I got it!! Somebody somewhere just wants me dead. That's the only explanation for why they left it hanging like that.

I have the Season 4 DVDs, but I don't have time to start it tonight. I have to be up to get ready for work in 6 and a half hours. UGH!!!

Why, oh why, doesn't Clark just destroy the caves and end all of their misery so that they can get on with their lives?

In other news, the General Manager was having nothing but positive things to say about my chances for the promotion to co-manager that I told a few of you about. We talked about it today, in fact.

Then, I get home today to find an email waiting for me, dated for today, about an hour after our talk, letting me know that I wasn't going to be getting it.

The worst part of it isn't that I was turned down. I knew that was a possibility. There were many more qualified applicants up for the same position. No, the worst part is the total lack of respect they showed by not even having the guts to tell me to my face. I guess that says a lot about what I, as an employee, mean to the company.

Now my only question is this:

ANYONE HIRING????

To all the guys I chat with on the messengers and told that I'd pop on tonight, I'm sorry I couldn't. Something happened to my computer. My keyboard just stopped working altogether. I got another keyboard from another, older, machine, but that one doesn't work either. My mom was using the computer downstairs for her eBay shopping stuff and finishing out her Avon things. (Yep, my mom has decided that she needs to be an Avon lady. Don't ask me.) Does anyone know if they have keyboards that plug into a USB port? Or should I go wireless? The thingies for them plug in by USB, don't they?

For now, I must bid adieu. I will be on tomorrow night for the Batpack chat, as well as other chats. I've already talked to my mom about using the computer in the living room, so that's all cleared up.
