Music questions

Does anyone out there have XM radio? If so, do you know if they have a Gay Club music station? I like the ones on AOL Radio or Yahoo Launchcast Radio. My mom's new van came with a year's free XM Radio subscription, so I figured I'd take advantage of it, since it's free and all. A lot of the channels seem to be set up the same way the music channels on our satelitte are.

*shrug*

Also, in looking around for new/more/different music to listen to tonight, I was completely depressed to know that I'm so lame that I don't even recognize most of the artists names. Hell, I don't even listen to country, unless I have no choice (ie, if my mom's in the car), and I know more of the names for those artist's than I do in any of the other categories.

*points at self* Is lame.

Check out Pandora.com. You tell it things you like (songs or performers) and it comes up with other things it thinks you'll like, which you can than veto or approve. It's pretty cool.

The only catch is that it requires a reliable high-speed connection in order to work right.

I have the high-speed connection. It's the reliable part I worry about. Our power, phone service, etc. seems to go out around here if we get so much as a cat fart.
