Reason #327 why I don't listen to music.

So, I was browsing through Yahoo Music and came across Christina Aguilera's song Hurt. I always thought it was about a broken relationship. It wasn't until I actually watched the video that I got that it was about her learning that her father had died. I've been a mass of tears and used kleenex for the past hour.

I hate when I hear something that makes me all nostalgic and melancholy. Now I'll have to take a pill and hope my nerves don't send me spinning into an anxiety attack.

I've listened to that song almost every day since Jan 1st. I had no idea it was about her father. Huh. Guess it fits better than I thought.

I don't know if it's actually about HER father, but the song is about a woman who finds out that her father unexpectantly died and she wasn't around at the time, nor did they have a very favorable parting the last time they spoke.

Which about sums up exactly what happened with my dad and I.

Ah, okay. Still, know what you mean. I didn't leave things on a bad note with my dad, but there is stuff he'd be so disappointed with me over. He was so proud of me losing weight. Wonder if he knows how I did it now. *sigh* Life sucks.
