I have to work tonight, so I'll, unfortunately, not be able to see it as it airs. But I am tivo'ing it. Then I shall watch over and over and over again as any truly devout worshipper of Xander should.

ION: I've been around. I've been reading my flist, commenting here and there, I just haven't been posting. Mostly because I can't think of things to say. How do you all come up with stuff to talk about? I could talk about my day at work, stuff like that, but I'm afraid it'd be so boring I'd get defriended in mass quantities.

IOON: I want to reinvent myself and become cool, like so many of my friends. Is this something that I can learn? How do I get out there and start being one of the popular kids? I am woefully socially inept, which wikipedia informs me could be a sign that I have avoidant personality disorder. I dislike being one of those people who sit in the dark, staring at the computer, not having anything to say or do.

Awwwww, CJ. I read all the Writercon reports and you were a huge hit! You're just concentrating on your job right now because it's important to do so and there's a lot of stress involved. Also, when you get home from dealing with the often a--ole public, you don't have any more energy to think of quippy things to say to your friends, but I know that you are very very much adored. If I knew how to do one of those poll things, but I'm too stupid, I'm sure if I rated you "who, blah, okay and adored," you'd come out 100% adored. Totally!

But, if you want to get out and run around, do you have The Learning Annex or Leisure Learning in your city? These organizations have great classes, activities, events, et cetera that you can sign up for, and then you *have* to get out and go. Google "The Learning Annex" or "Leisure Learning" and see what comes up and go investigate. And if it doesn't work, email me at alice23kate at gmail dot com! (((Hugs)))

Awww, thank you so much. And I did check, there aren't any Learning Annex or Leisure Learning places anywhere near my area of the country.
