SGA McShep fic recs and a question

Most of you have probably already read these. God knows, I'm always the last one at the drink table. But, here you go:

The city was full of failsafes. (in the words of eternalmusings, a disturbing take on Groundhog Day)

3. Bell Curve, or Ladies Night at the Boom Boom Room by Pru (NC-17)
In his rational mind, Rodney knew that following a girl who'd just dumped you into a strip club was really, really pathetic. (BC #1)

And proving my stupidity, can someone tell me something. what does tl;dr mean? I've tried everything in my brain, but nothing seems to work. (and I can hear those of you snickering over that, shut up)

Am I the only one with a sudden urge to see Rodney arguing with Sam and him resorting to the childishness of "Yes, well...my boyfriend is hotter than yours", thus outing himself and John?
