Everywhere I look, everyone's so excited about James Marsters being on Torchwood's second season.

I'm not. At all. Other than playing Spike, on Buffy, I've never liked James Marsters in anything. I didn't even like him as Spike on Angel. I think he pretty much ruined season 5 of Smallville for me. I tried watching the new(ish) animated Superman Doomsday movie today, heard his voice as Lex Luthor, and turned it off.

I may have to stop watching Torchwood now, and this just sucks because I love the whole Jack/Ianto thing they had going on.

ION: I'm still alive..though there are probably some people who, after reading what I just wrote, wish I weren't. Also, I'm going to try and start updating more. Not just because I know there are those of you out there who would wither and die with out me, but for myself as well.

That's the way I feel about Alyson Hannigan, the second she shows up onscreen, I stop watching, an turn down the sound because her voice annoys me and makes me want to throw stuff at the screen whenever she's on.

Or the way that Alexis Denissoff makes me fall asleep whenever he's onscreen.

Yet despite that I personally feel that these are the two worst actors of the Buffy verse, there's still people who inexplicable to me, actually like these actors and want to see more of them. No matter how bad I think they are.

Personally, I like Alyson Hannigan, but I've never liked Alexis Denissoff. Yet, I do like the character on Buffy and Angel. Go figure.

yeah ... i'm pretty much where you are when it comes to JM ... Spike was cool, but he hasn't been able to duplicate that anywhere else ... which makes ya wonder if Spike really was more credit to Joss than James (Like James often claimed)

I just saw the kiss 'in motion' and it doesn't really improve all that much :(

now, my manlove is devoted to John Simm (see icon) he's excellent in EVERYTHING he's in ... regardless of how poor (or good) the writing is ;)

I'm nuts for James (and don't hide it), so I'm squeeing, yeah. I do have a close friend who feels about him the way you do. She's a Torchwood fan, so I'm guessing she's not looking on youtube.

I don't think you need worry about Jack/Ianto, though. Far as I know, James is only on two episodes.

You do know he's coming back to Smallville (for the short bit of season that's left).

I have the same reaction to Julia Roberts that you do to James.

Oh, I know. Have you seen Julia with the blonde hair in Charlie Wilson's War? She looks terrible and washed out.
