i'm good! i constantly feel like i'm barely managing to doggy-paddle fast enough to keep my head above water, but i am good.

Me? I'm scared shitless, pretty much.

I'm unemployed and can't find a part time job.

I'm starting school later this month and I have no clue what I'm doing. AND I have to take a math placement exam to determine what kind of math classes I need to take in college.

And all this time, I'm sitting in my room at my mom's house, with all my plans to move out on my own blasted to some future date I can't see.

And to top it all off, I finally have the money to go to Writercon but I won't have the time.

So yeah....I'm groovy.

I am looking forward to school. And, the more I research it, the more I notice that there's a possibility that I may have the time to go to Writercon, if I work it just right. I'll have to talk to my advisor when I meet with her at orientation.

Now, if I can just convince myself I'm not too stupid to actually pass my classes. I didn't have a very high GPA in high school, even if I had phenomenal ACT scores. A 32, if I may brag just a bit.

I think I'm mostly just depressed because I have nothing to do.

I can't even write because all the fandoms I feel comfortable in are too intimidating.
