Ugh! Has it really been so long since I've posted?

I guess it has. Date on my last post was July 16. *wince* Sorry about that. I kinda got swamped by my finals and never seemed to recover.

But, school is done for summer semester. I made it out alive and walked away with a 3.57 GPA. I am quite proud of myself. Grades are as such, for those that wanted to know:

History: B
Psychology: B
Math: A
English: A

And surprisingly, the math and english scores are the ones that shocked me the most.

As for after classes ended, I haven't really been doing much of anything. I wanted to go to Writercon, but couldn't afford it. I think that's why I've been neglecting my flist lately. Reading about everyone else squeeing over going was just depressing me.

So instead, I lie around the house all day, since I'm still unemployed, and read or watch old tv shows.

I would kill to find a job. Unfortunately, no one seems to be interested in hiring part time workers. Everywhere I've applied wants full time, and I just can't do that with my school schedule. And since I waited so long to finally go back, I'm not letting that slip away from me. I will remain bored and broke to keep my grades up. My plan is to graduate within the the top 5% of my class.

I did get registered for Fall Semester, though. And it looks interesting, even if I did have to substitute a class I didn't really want to take in my science selection.

Accounting I
Geography (I wanted biology)
Computers 150
Math (no getting away from that one, is there?)

I also found out that I'll have to take 5 semesters of math, then 2 semesters of Statistics. So I plan to use a bit of my loan money to buy stock in Tylenol.

Also, for everyone in the D.C./Maryland vicinity, I'm currently scrimping together every penny I can and saving to take another vacation up that way again, most likely sometime next summer. When we get closer to the date and I know exactly when I'll be there, I want to get some stuff locked into place with meeting up and such.

I guess that's all for now, I'll report back as often as I can. I know I keep saying I'm going to post more than I do, it's just that nothing ever really happens in my life worth posting about. And who really wants to read about me lying around reading?

Yeah....I kept saying "maybe next semester" until I finally realized the only thing really keeping me going was my being scared I wouldn't be able to do it. So I finally got drunk enough to fill out all the paperwork, and the rest is history, which I got a B in, HA!

Heee!!! We will definitely be meeting up again. And since I'll most likely have no job to get back to in a hurry, there's no reason my trip can't last longer than just the few short days I was able to squeeze out last time. I may even impose on a few people and travel around a bit.

It'll be okay. But, since I had been planning to go to Writercon, I had set aside this weekend with no plans, which meant a mad scrabble to do stuff, hence the massive movie watching I mentioned in a post or two. Luckily, school starts again soon, so I can throw myself into homework and pull my GPA up a little further.
