I became interested in the Jeremy/Tyler pairing way back in season 1, but it seems almost no one else has. There is an extreme lack of fic, in any case. I was just talking to eternalmusings and sam_gamgee earlier tonight about not being able to find any. And, for the last few hours, even while trying to distract myself with other shows, this idea was niggling in the back of my brain.

So I wrote it down. It probably isn't very good and it's completely unbeta'd. But, here ya go.

He’s not entirely sure what he’s going to say, but he knows he has to say something. That night haunts his memories. It tickles at the back of his mind, like a half forgotten song that just won’t leave you alone until you figure out what it is. And there are the dreams.
The dreams, he remembers in perfect detail. It’s been driving him crazy; every night, the same dream. The smooth slide of too-warm skin against his own, the taste of old alcohol and mint in his mouth. If he closes his eyes and turns his head just so, he can almost see the face, but it always drifts away before he can focus on it.
But it doesn’t matter. He knows who it is. It’s the name he calls out every night, just before he wakes up, covered in sweat.
Jeremy turns when he hears the door open behind him and their eyes lock. Somehow, he’s taller than Jeremy remembered, and a bit wider in the shoulder. Jeremy takes a step forward, adjusting the strap on his backpack. “Hey, Tyler. We need to talk.”

I have no idea who the characters are, but from a literary point of view, this is a fantastic drabble. I've always found your way with words very engaging and atmospheric and this is certainly no different. Thanks for sharing. :)

Thank you, my love!! I am sure that, if you were to watch the show (as I have told you to do on many occasions) you would agree with me on the Jeremy/Tyler thing and you would get your writing mojo back.
