Okay, so...
Jul. 14th, 2010 10:05 amTime to recap my week, thus far....
I had a pretty uneventful trip on Saturday, as long as we don't count the three hours stuck in Atlanta airport, waiting for my connecting flight. But, I did get to Baltimore, where I was met at the airport by![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
eternalmusings and sam_gamgee. We left there, went by the grocery store for supplies, then on to eternalmusings' home. We spent a lot of time talking and visiting and watching TV, then we went out to Best Buy because I had no SD card for my camera and eternalmusings needed one also. I still want my free bonus downloads, National Geographic, and if you think I'm going to just forget, you have another think coming.
On Sunday, we watched Legion and the Star Trek reboot movie aseternalmusings had never seen it...it was loved by all. That evening, we got in the car and drove up to visit with dancetomato and essene and the trip was fabulous. We met them at their house, which is beautiful, and I got to meet Astro, Cyrus, and Mr. Bennett. All the kids are just adorable!!!!! (especially Astro). From there, we went to The Cheesecake Factory (listen up, world....we need one of those in Mobile, S.T.A.T.) where we had a very good time talking about everything under the sun and laughed at the shenanigans of the wait staff! After dinner, we returned to dancetomato and essene's house and played Wii bowling (so much fun having dancetomato kick my butt!)
On Monday, we ventured out into the wild, wild world and located the mall, where I once again was allowed to experience shopping at Macy's (you guys take way too many things for granted). Anyway, I was able to find myself some pretty nice sandals (which was my main purpose in going), and then we shopped our way around the mall for a while, until we found ourselves in FYE (I really hope they still have that 50% off sale on anime when I get back home). I bought the old Wonder Woman series, all three seasons (shut up! it's awesome!).
Tuesday was another bum around the house day and watch TV/play online/talk about any and everything that pops into your head!! And then we watched White Collar, which I will admit was better than I have previously given the show credit for, and the series premiere of Covert Affairs, which was pure awesome! Also, I made dinner, which was awesome...my famous Mac & Cheese and ceasar salad!
Today we have plans to go to the movies and see The Sorcerer's Apprentice, then we're coming back here for dinner and leaving after that to go to Border's and see Naomi Novik in person and, quite possibly, get her to autograph some Temeraire books for us.
Tomorrow, we have plans to meet up withsam_gamgee's dad in D.C. and tour some sights there. I have no clue what we're doing Friday, and then there's the BIG SURPRISE on Saturday.
